Contract, Technical Compliance Analyst (Remote, United States)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Compliance Analyst to join our Corporate Operations team on a full-time contract basis. In this role, you’ll help ensure our internal systems, processes, and documentation meet regulatory, contractual, and internal compliance requirements. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams like Security, Legal, and IT to identify gaps, manage documentation, and support audit readiness.

This is a full-time contract position remote eligible based within the United States with a pay rate of $40 per hour, 40 hours per week. 

Location: 

This is a remote contract position open to candidates based in the United States. While we support remote work across most states, we are currently unable to contract with individuals residing in California, Massachusetts, New York, or New Jersey due to legal and compliance considerations.

Applicants must have authorization to work in the U.S. and reside in a supported state throughout the duration of the contract.

What You'll Do: 

  • Assist with policy development and implementation, ensuring alignment with frameworks such as NIST

  • Provide support for internal and external audits, coordinating responses, providing documentation, and ensuring audit requirements are met

  • Validate the ongoing effectiveness of controls across departments, working with control owners to update controls as necessary

  • Complete third-party vendor assessments

  • Evaluate third-party risks and recommend mitigation strategies

  • Prepare detailed risk reports, present to leadership, and maintain risk register

  • Assist with security awareness and privacy training for all employees

  • Stay current on compliance and security industry trends, relevant federal government and customer specific compliance requirements, and best practices

What We're Looking For: 

As we evaluate candidates across all roles, we look for folks with a strong sense of ownership, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement.

  • 3-5 years of work experience related to GRC, data privacy, information security or related roles

  • Thorough understanding of law and regulations, such as GLBA and CCPA

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience utilizing various IT controls frameworks, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS),
