At TOMRA we want to be a thought leader, encouraging a more sustainable way of thinking and inspiring active change around the world.Job Description• Collaborate with the SVP of Sales & Marketing to implement a systematic Sales Operational Management Plan and strategic approach.• Plan and execute sales management activities across the continent, addressing the diverse needs of different market segments.• Ensure effective internal organisation of processes and structures, building strong relationships and collaboration with the Service team.• Oversee the compliance and maintenance of all relevant proposals, health and safety regulations, order confirmations, and the CRM 365/IFS systems in accordance with company policies.• Engage in high-level discussions with key customers, integrators, and opinion leaders.• Develop, coach, and motivate a team of over 30 sales, CPM, and service team members.• Implement and execute the five-year TR Americas strategy plan.• Coordinate and manage weekly forecasts with precision and a forward-looking perspective, leading operations across the continent.• Manage the agency, distributors, and other stakeholders within the Plant Builders network.• Support Business Development Managers in assessing new business opportunities.• Participate in exhibitions and conferences to promote the brand.• Actively contribute as a member of the Global TOMRA Sorting Team.• Serve as the legal representative for obligations related to tax administration, social insurance, and health and safety, while overseeing local operational HR tasks.QualificationsKey Qualifications:• Entrepreneurial Leader: A strong, ambitious, and inspiring leader who can drive success.• Commercial Acumen: Demonstrates robust commercial skills with a proven track record in successful contract negotiation.• Exceptional Communicator: Excellent listening and communication abilities, fostering clear dialogue with stakeholders.• Customer-Centric: Focused on customer needs and decisive in approach.• Results-Oriented: Passionate about the company’s technology and dedicated to empowering employees.• Analytical Mindset: Utilises an analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.• Industry Experience: Preferably has experience in the waste or recycling industry, though not mandatory.• Educational Background: Holds a Master’s degree in a relevant field (commercial, technical, economics).• Professional Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in the B2B sector, with a strong emphasis on leadership.• Inspirational: Capable of inspiring and motivating teams, with a clear vision and effective communication.• Inclusive Leadership: Actively involves direct reports and managers in decision-making processes.• Stress Resilience: Maintains a good level of stress tolerance in a fast-paced environment.• International Exposure: Extensive experience working in an international context, managing diverse teams and large partners.• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in using CRM and digital platforms.• Cultural Awareness: Appreciates and respects cultural differences.• Language Skills: Fluent in spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages, such as Spanish, is a plus.• Willingness to Travel: Open to extensive travel throughout the region.• Relocation: Overseas candidates must be willing to relocate and become permanent residents.• Collaborative Approach: Will work closely with various functions within TOMRA Sorting – Recycling, including Global Service, R&D, Product Management, TO, BPM, and local management.Additional InformationRecruitment Stages:• Online pre-interview conducted by Alessandra Soldano , followed by a cognitive and personality assessments.• A second virtual interview with Tom Eng, Fabrizio Radice , Carolin Bastian to discuss your CV and role-specific questions.• Final on-site interview with Dr. Volker Rehrmann and Fabrizio Radice.Apply Today and Help Us Build a More Sustainable Future!Ready to join the TOMRA mission?
