Job Summary:


We’re looking for an experienced Creative Director to lead our marketing creative function. This person will be responsible for the development and execution of compelling creative strategies that elevate our brand, engage our audience, and drive business impact. As a key member of the marketing leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of our creative output, from concept development to final execution, across multiple channels and platforms.


This role will manage one talented marketing designer plus a creative agency, and will chart the course for how the function and its resourcing evolves over time. This person will also lead a brand refresh and set the creative vision that ensures our brand resonates and inspires. 


Key Responsibilities:
  • Creative Leadership: Define and drive the creative vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall brand and business goals.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire the team to deliver high-quality, innovative work. Own the resourcing strategy as the company and the marketing team evolve, determining the right balance of in-house and external resources. 
  • Campaign Development: Oversee the ideation, development, and execution of creative campaigns across digital, print, video, social, and other channels.
  • Brand Evolution: Lead a refresh of our brand’s visual identity to match new positioning, evolving brand guidelines to ensure consistency and integrity across all creative assets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and other departments to align creative efforts with broader strategic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present creative concepts and campaigns to internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining the integrity of the creative vision.
  • Performance Optimization: Utilize analytics and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of creative campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Budget Management: Manage the creative budget, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.


Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a senior creative leadership role
  • A strong portfolio showcasing diverse creative work across multiple channel
  • Deep understanding of design principles, branding, and storytelling
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment; comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate creative professionals
  • Proactive, strategic, and self-motivated — always pushing to do better


Skills
  • Previous experience leading a brand redesign or evolution / refresh 
  • Proficiency with creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant platforms
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a desire to create scalable processes within a growing company
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience working on large integrated campaigns
  • Previous experience at both a brand / creative agency and an in-house tech company preferred
  • At least 10 years experience preferred
  • Knowledge of DTC / Ecommerce space a plus 


$160,000 - $190,000 a year
