Customer Service Specialist – Hotel Technology Expert

Seekda is looking to hire a Customer Service Specialist – Hotel Technology Expert to join our team in Vienna!

Our team is composed of highly collaborative professionals with several years of successful cooperation. We bring together strong technical expertise and extensive experience in the hospitality industry, all within a calm, respectful, and solution-oriented work environment.

The daily operations of the successful Customer Service Specialist - Hotel Technology Support will be client-facing via multiple communication tools, such as tickets, phone calls, client training, and contract management. Previous experience working in the hotel industry would be highly advantageous.

The successful candidate will live anywhere within commutable distance of our office in Vienna, working in a hybrid work model!

What your day will look like:

  • Technical support as well as assistance to our customers (hotels) in all aspects of the use of the Seekda platform via telephone and e-mail
  • Advising business customers on pre-sales, after-sales and distribution activities
  • Lead, opportunity, and account management
  • Cooperation with 2nd level product team and our developers
  • Communication and collaboration with our international interface partners
  • Supporting our web agency partners in the implementation and adaptation of our booking engine and its widgets
  • Regular online trainings and webinars for our clients
  • Other duties as reasonably directed
  • Adhere to all Seekda policies

About You:

  • At least a professional level of German and English, both written and verbal, is essential
  • 3+ years of experience 
  • Good technical understanding of interface technologies and data formats (ideally from the hotel industry)
  • Knowledge of standard web development tools and practice (e.g. widget integration) 
  • Several years of work experience in the IT environment and knowledge of its processes would be an advantage
  • IBE, OTA, BAR rate and conversion are not foreign words, and Fidelio is no opera for you
  • Business understanding, especially for marketing and online sales activities 
  • A highly professional, solution and customer-oriented way of working  
  • Quick comprehension 
  • Advantage: Experience with ticketing systems  
  • Advantageous: Other foreign languages (especially Italian, Spanish or French) 
  • Legally authorized to work in Austria
