Medical Virtual Assistant

Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling, appointment reminders, and follow-up communications
- Assist with medical documentation, including patient records and transcriptions
- Handle billing and insurance verification, ensuring accurate claims processing
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations while managing patient information
- Communicate with patients regarding their inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow and patient care
- Conduct research on medical procedures, treatment options, and healthcare services as needed
- Provide general administrative support, including email management and filing
- Proven experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, Medical Secretary, or similar role
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, administrative procedures, and HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation
- Proficient in medical software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring high-quality patient care
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities
- Experience with billing and insurance processes is preferred
