Visa's Cybersecurity team is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer who will be responsible for design, development, and execution of large-scale Cloud Cybersecurity initiatives. Python and web service development experience and team leadership skills are a must. In this position, you are a passionate and talented Cybersecurity professional with problem-solving abilities and coding/testing/debugging skills who can work in a dynamic environment.
Essential Functions:
Develop innovative solutions to protect the Visa brand, networks, assets and products by implementing state-the-art detection, prevention, and response capabilities.
Engage in technical design of solutions based on use cases and business requirements.
Participate in proof of concepts and other technical evaluations of technologies, designs and solutions.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and proactively assess and evaluate the adoption thereof into the organization.
Demonstrate technical mastery and continuously develops the competencies of him/herself and others.
Reduce time-to-detect and time-to-remediate by driving the automation of applied threat intelligence and sensor enrichment.
Develop and expand API framework to interconnect Security Tools.

Basic Qualifications:
•2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
•3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
•Strong Domain exposure of Cloud Security in multi cloud enterprise environment: AWS or GCP, or Azure. Associate level certification in 1 or more of platforms is preferred. Multiple years of experience, Engineering and supporting migrating applications to cloud and implementing security controls in the cloud.
•Knowledge and hands on experience for designing and implementing new controls based on gap and requirement.
•Ability to independently conduct POC of new technology solutions, take ownership of implementation.
•Hands on usage of CSPM and CNAAP tools and process development to ensure addressing vulnerabilities in a timely manner. Experience with continuous compliance in cloud.
•Knowledge and hands on experience with infrastructure as code, terraform, CICD
•Knowledge of multiple security domain like Cloud FW, Security Groups, DDOS, Network Proxy, Cloud SIEM like Sumo logic etc.
•Strong communication skills.
•Proficiency with Linux (or similar) operating systems, Proficient knowledge of Python,
•In depth understanding of Internet protocols.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
