Job Description

The successful candidate will join Visa’s Global Privacy Office as an Associate in the Global Privacy Strategy and Operations team. In this role, you will be interacting with Visa consumers as well as internal stakeholders, helping them to understand how Visa’s Global Privacy Office can support them to understand how Visa uses personal information

  • Using Visa’s online Consumer Rights Portal, effectively and efficiently, plan and prioritize Data Subject Access cases to ensure that statutory deadlines are met.
  • Correspond Engage with Visa consumers to better understand their requests ensuring that they get the resolution they are looking for.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, working with Visa business teams to ensure that Consumer requests actioned efficiently and appropriately.
  • Work with Visa’s Digital Rights Management team to ensure that Subject Access requests are moved to Visa Business Technicians for fulfilment.
  •  Work with key business stakeholders to help them understand the privacy program, directing them to subject matter experts where appropriate.
  • Navigating Visa’s network of Data Protection Officers, escalate complex queries and complaints from Visa consumers.
  •  Identify opportunities to improve operational process efficiencies and help to operationalize the improvements.
  • Working with business analysists, support the Global Privacy Office metrics program by helping to produce and maintain accurate Data Subject Access request data.

The Subject Access process is global, and requests are received in a multitude of languages. The role will require that requests are translated so that they can be understood and actioned effectively. Tools will be provided to assist with this.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • One or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Relevant experience should include working in a customer service role
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Strong people skills with proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal clients at all levels of management
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and support cross-functional project teams
  • Ability to present data information to different audiences and an understanding of how data information can be used to identify opportunities for improvements to the way we operate
  • Ability to understand and document project requirements and dependencies
  • Versatility, ability to prioritize and handle a large number of matters with conflicting deadlines, and ability to work effectively on a small team with significant workload
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion is critical
  • Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department
