Early Implementation/Ops

🏥 What We Do

At Vitalize, we enable health systems to automate and optimize staffing operations, freeing up thousands of hours and reducing labor costs by millions. Currently, schedules still live on paper, spreadsheets, and whiteboards, and hospitals are building new departments of 20+ FTEs to manage this tangled mess.

In less than 6 months, Vitalize has reached 7-figures in ARR and is backed by top investors, including Y Combinator and top health systems.

🔭 Our Vision

To become the unified clinical operating system for health systems. After rebuilding hospital staffing and scheduling automation-first (our wedge), we want to consolidate fragmented HR, timekeeping/attendance, and clinical operations processes that are trapped in Excel or Legacy HR systems.

✍️ Position Overview

You'll own the implementation of Vitalize's software across healthcare systems, from kick-off to post go-live stabilization. Some days, you are a product manager responsible for surfacing unique product requirements from customers or looking at product analytics to drive ROI. Other days, you are project manager coordinating and executing on a project plan with various stakeholders including CNOs, nurse directors/managers, end-users, client PMs, and IT teams. Every day, you're listening to our users and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure the product is continuously improving.

The ideal person for this role is someone who’s willing to get their hands dirty with the company’s biggest problems and bottlenecks, and approaches every company problem, even those that seem impossible, with a get-it-done attitude. You're effectively getting your hands on everything that falls in between sales and engineering, and building Vitalize's implementation playbook along the way.

🧭 Responsibilities

  • Own the creation, coordination, and execution of implementation plans with customers

  • Configure Vitalize's platform based on user needs.

  • Train and guide healthcare leadership and staff to execute on change management.

  • Serve as a bridge between users and our engineering team to surface and prioritize product feedback, and help with testing of new features.

  • Nurture deep relationships with nursing leadership at customer-sites. Your rapport and responsiveness will make Vitalize Care a trusted partner in healthcare.

🧭 Why you should join us?

  • Rapid Growth: We have signed on 20+ hospitals in less than 12 months of ideation, and have no signs of slowing down.

  • Small but Rockstar Team: We are a small team of published healthcare researchers, college and grad school dropouts, former McKinsey consultants, former US math champions, and previous VC-backed founders.

  • Mission-Driven Company: Every employee has the opportunity to visit a customer site in-person, and we often build alongside them, elbow-to-elbow. This means when we mess up, we take ownership over the ripple effect. And when we succeed, the wins are addicting.

  • Professional Growth: As an early employee, you will have the opportunity to eventually build and lead a team that helps us keep up with growth and maximize success. You’ll also have a huge role in day-to-day decisions that guide the overall trajectory and growth of the company.

☑ Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience:

    • Proven experience in healthcare technology implementation, project management, consulting, or operations, ideally at an early stage company.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

    • Ability to understand and explain software solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

    • Willingness to travel to healthcare facilities as needed.
