Position Summary...What you'll do...In the Technology Strategy team, we address issues that need cross-departmental input and involvement with senior executives throughout the company. While in the commercialization team, we develop partner networks to support increased productivity, speed, and innovation. Walmart Commerce Technologies (WCT) is a new start up team within Walmart Global Tech commercializing internally developed technologies. WCT team is focused on externalizing proven Walmart technologies and packaging them as a SaaS solutions for retailers and other companies.The Senior Manager, Product Management - Platform will be responsible for leading the platform supporting all WCT commercialized offerings. Success in this role requires high comfort with ambiguity, thoughtful decision making and deep experience of a breadth of platform areas such as IAM, data etc. as well as running program management across multiple dependencies. You will have the unique opportunity to assemble a platform that is future-proof to support a suite of 0-1 commercial SaaS solutions, that empower retailers - large enterprise to SMBs.What you'll do:• Define WCT Platform stack requirements, own the roadmap for rollout, and monitor progress to milestones.• Ensure key metrics are in place to define success and continuously iterate to meet the needs of the evolving WCT solutions portfolio.• Make thoughtful decisions to build, buy, or partner across components and leverage WMT internal components when appropriate.• Manage programs to follow WMT operational processes to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing development for all WCT SaaS products.• Collaborate with WCT engineering, 3P teams, or WMT internal teams to build out the platform stack. Collaborate with WCT solutions product managers to gather forward-looking needs.• Own the overarching strategy in line with long-term WCT goals, various needs of WCT offerings, continually keeping in line with SaaS industry standards and keeping up with internal WMT developments to find appropriate leverage opportunities.What you'll bring:• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field.• 8+ years of experience in product management• Proven ability to program manage and operationalize deployment processes in a large company• Strong understanding of SaaS platform industry standards and related areas such as IAM, Data etc.• Proven ability to define and execute product roadmaps.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.Preferred Qualifications• Experience in the retail industry• Experience building 0-1 platform in a startup settingAbout Walmart Global TechImagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
