Position Summary...What you'll do...InfoSec Risk and Compliance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Global Technology Policy to join our team. This role will be pivotal in shaping and guiding the company's technology policies on a global scale. The Director will lead a team responsible for drafting, reviewing, and publishing Global Technology policies, ensuring they align with Walmart's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:• Lead and manage a team of policy experts in the development, review, and publication of Global Technology policies.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and technology departments, to ensure policies are comprehensive and enforceable.• Monitor global regulatory developments and assess their impact on Walmart's technology policies.• Provide strategic guidance on technology policy issues to senior leadership.• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including industry groups, regulators, and policymakers.• Ensure that all technology policies are communicated effectively across the organization and are adhered to by all relevant parties.• Conduct regular reviews and updates of policies to ensure they remain current and effective.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Law, Public Policy, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.• Extensive experience in technology policy, with a strong understanding of global regulatory environments.• Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
