Position Summary...What you'll do...Walmart Commerce Technologies (WCT) is a new start up team within Walmart Global Tech, commercializing internally developed technologies. WCT team is focused on externalizing proven Walmart technologies and packaging them for retailers and other companies.The Principal Product Manager - Technology Commercialization will be responsible for leading the externalization of the of technology assets within Transportation, building a SaaS offering and driving it to market.Success in this role requires high comfort with ambiguity, strong execution & entrepreneurial mentality, and passion for new technologies.What you will do:• Evaluate the technology, conduct research, determine competitive landscape and business trends, and perform quantitative analysis to evaluate potential opportunities.• Define the MVP for a B2B product and the analytics to define success of product.• Create the roadmap for feature set roll out and monitor progress to milestones.• Work with cross-functional teams to answer questions and make scope trade off decisions for successful partnerships.• Ensure post-launch support and validate success of commercialized product against success metrics.• Evaluate customer pain points and continuously iterate and develop product Position requires a highly focused execution mentality in a fast-paced environment.Minimum qualifications• Bachelor's degree and 8 -10 years of experience in product management• 2-3 Product design Experience within Transportation Management systems, specifically first and middle mile space.Preferred Qualifications• Master's degree in Operations Research or Product design or Product Commercialization• 2-3 years of experience with building and launching a new product in high growth SaaS start-ups• Engineering background a positive• Background in Sales/Technology CommercializationAbout Walmart Global TechImagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
