Senior Program Manager, Commercial Operations

You will report to the Director of Global Operations for Ride Hail and be based in San Francisco or Mountain View in California.

You will:

  • Analyze data (SQL, dashboards, etc.) to understand factors affecting supply and develop strategies for vehicle availability across markets and times.
  • Lead retrospectives of supply dips, identify causes, assign action items, and bring solutions to completion.
  • Create and refine plans to reduce the impact of unforeseen events on hailable vehicle supply.
  • Collaborate with Supply and Demand teams in each market, set performance targets, and ensure alignment to maximize service levels.
  • Define, document, and deliver training for on-call procedures and escalation protocols to ensure swift resolution of supply issues.
  • Work directly with senior leaders to lead decision-making for initiatives affecting hailable supply, balancing trade-offs with other goals, and coach partners on supply management best practices.

You have:

  • 10+ years of experience interpreting data from multiple sources and obtaining relevant insights to optimize results (i.e: vehicle supply).
  • The ability to conduct investigations into supply disruptions, identify causes, and develop solutions.
  • 5+ years of project management experience

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the role location or, if the role can be performed remote, the specific salary range for your preferred location, during the hiring process. 

Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
