The Financial Planning team is committed to delivering an exceptional financial planning experience to our Premium and Generation clients, helping them achieve their biggest goals and fostering long-term trust and loyalty.

As a Financial Planner, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for guiding existing and prospective clients through their financial planning and consolidation journey. Your role is not just about answering financial questions but about curiously exploring the "why" behind each question to help clients make confident, informed decisions. This role is perfect for entrepreneurial financial planners who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about doing things differently in the financial industry.

What You’ll Do

✔ Engage clients in meaningful financial conversations. You’ll listen deeply and ask insightful questions to understand the real goals and motivations behind their financial decisions.

✔ Encourage action through strategic financial advice. You’ll ensure clients take meaningful steps toward achieving their financial goals, while helping them see the bigger picture.

✔ Excite prospective and current clients about how we can help them achieve their financial dreams.  

✔ Drive asset consolidation at Wealthsimple through impactful, goal-based financial advice.

✔ Own your performance metrics, ensuring activity and consolidation targets are met.

✔ Follow up rigorously so clients can experience the full benefits of financial planning.

✔ Communicate primarily via phone and video, delivering on-demand, personalized financial planning experience. 

✔ Embrace technology to improve the client experience, making financial planning more accessible, intuitive, and effective.

• Client-Focused & Empathetic: You’re passionate about helping clients make sense of their financial lives, and you build trust through transparency, active listening, and thoughtful advice.
• Naturally Curious: You don’t just answer financial questions—you seek to understand what’s behind them. You love digging deeper into clients’ motivations, concerns, and long-term aspirations.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: You thrive in fast-paced, high-performance environments, such as startups or high-expectation sales roles.
• Tech-Comfortable & Adaptable: You embrace digital financial tools and use them to enhance client experience. You’re comfortable navigating new platforms and tools to improve efficiency.
• Forward-Thinking: You understand that financial planning is evolving. You respect traditional planning but know technology is changing the game.

• CFP  (mandatory)
• 4+ years of experience in financial planning with asset consolidation responsibilities
• Proven track record of high performance and target attainment 
• Bilingual (French) is required
• Passionate about financial planning and investing
• Comfortable using digital tools and technology to enhance financial planning
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for clients
