We have a new opportunity for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our team in Munich, Germany. 

Our People & Culture Business Partners play a pivotal role in driving positive employee relations, fostering a productive work environment, and ensuring our HR practices align with both global and local organisational goals. You will partner with our business leaders to understand their unique needs and develop strategic HR solutions that contribute to their success.  

Responsibilities include: 

 

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement people & culture strategies aligned with local and global objectives. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on all people & culture matters, including talent management, compensation & benefits, and employee relations. 
  • Develop and implement HR policies and programs that support the unique needs of Germany. 
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws, regulations and HR trends, recommending necessary adjustments. 
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and drive a positive and inclusive work culture. 
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract and onboard top talent for the region. 
  • Conduct performance management, compensation reviews, and provide guidance on employee relations issues. 
  • Manage HR systems and ensure accurate employee data. 
  • Contribute to the development and execution of employee wellness programs. 

Experience we look for: 

Essential 

  • Prior experience in a Business Partner role, ideally in a commercial organisation 
  • Fluent in both German and English, knowledge of additional European languages would be advantageous 
  • Strong knowledge of EU employment laws and regulations, particularly in partnered countries/markets 
  • Strong commercial acumen – understanding how People & Culture can drive business performance through partnering 

 

Desirable 

 

  • Experience gained within the FMCG/food production/manufacturing environment would be beneficial but not essential 
  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field would be preferred
