As a member of the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort team, you will meet and engage with guests who have arrived to enjoy all the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer and help them experience our world-class amenities such as the state-of-the-art Wild Bear Falls water park.

Job Description

Supervise employees in the Transportation department that drive the busses. Also supervise the golf cart mechanics

As Transportation Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise and coach all Transportation drivers within the Transportation Department
  • Transport resort guests along an established route
  • Transportation of employees to and from parking areas
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings
  • Onsite interoffice mail delivery
  • Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle
  • Operate radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service
  • Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories
  • Make sure team members are properly signing golf carts in and out
  • Make sure all golf carts are cleaned everyday

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • TN driver's license with passenger endorsement
  • Must have one year experience in driving the class of vehicle operated and must meet all state and local licensing requirements. Must maintain satisfactory driving records and must take a a mandatory defensive driving safety class. (Refer to Policy #436, Small Vehicle Fleet Policy)
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
