Job Description

As a Sales Engineer on our Enterprise team, you will serve as a bridge between our technical capabilities and the business needs of enterprise clients. You will lead the technical aspects of the sales process, collaborating with both sales teams and clients to deliver customized solutions. You’ll leverage your deep technical knowledge and excellent communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, guiding them through product demonstrations, technical scoping, and solution design.

This is a client-facing role with a focus on enterprise accounts, so you will need to have a genuine passion for technology while also thriving in front of clients. Whether it’s delivering a technical demo, guiding a discussion, or answering tough questions, you are comfortable navigating changing requirements and can quickly pivot in response to new client needs or opportunities. You will need to think strategically and be able to help clients not only solve their immediate problems but also setting them up for future success with our platform.

This role will offer the chance to be a part of a global team with a direct impact on the Wix business. In this role, your day-to-day activities will involve:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the Wix products suite as well staying updated on the latest platform developments.

  • Act as the primary technical expert during sales calls and meetings with enterprise clients, and deep dive into our clients’ business requirements and challenges.

  • Provide expert guidance on how Wix Enterprise solutions can address clients and design customized technical solutions that align with their goals and requirements.

  • Work closely with the sales, product, and development teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and to keep the client’s technical requirements in focus throughout the sales process.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations, ensuring their needs are met and helping to secure long-term partnerships and offering ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance.

  • Gather insights from client interactions and share feedback with internal teams to influence product development and improve the customer experience.

At this time we are seeking NY-based candidates or candidates who can commute to our office in New York City. Our employees work in a flexible hybrid model and are expected to be in the office 2 times per week.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a Pre-Sales/Sales/Solutions Engineer or in a similar technical role.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise-level software solutions and integrations In-depth knowledge of enterprise integrations (e.g., identity providers, CRMs, payment gateways, mobile development, cloud platforms, etc.) and web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  • Proven ability to deliver compelling and engaging product demos that resonate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex and demo technical concepts to non-technical audiences, while also engaging deeply with technical stakeholders.

  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions, with a deep understanding of enterprise software needs, challenges, and integration points.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales teams, product teams, and technical support to ensure successful outcomes for client.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to creatively design solutions that meet both client needs and technical requirements.

  • Familiarity with the Wix platform is a strong plus.

Approximate base compensation $97,000 - $125,000/year. In addition to the base pay this role includes variable compensation earned and company RSUs as part of the compensation package. Final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including location the role is expected to be performed, shift, candidate profile and ideal qualifications.
