At Wrapbook, we're simplifying the most complex workflows in entertainment and creative industries. As the Director of Product Management, Payables, you’ll lead our efforts to innovate Payables processes in industries where accuracy, precision, and customer experience are everything. From navigating union contracts and benefits, all the way through calculating hours to gross (HTG), you’ll tackle complex, multi-faceted challenges with significant impact.

At the most basic level, the Payables Group at Wrapbook is responsible for payments against complex industry agreements—ensuring accuracy and speed—which is absolutely core and essential to our operations. This is an exciting time to join the Payables Group, with its unique ability to increase our growth in customer acquisition and subsequently market share. However, this growth also necessitates the ability to navigate through ambiguity and leverage strong prioritization skills, providing a realistic view of the challenges and opportunities in this role.

If you’re energized by complexity, thrive on collaborating with diverse teams, and are passionate about delivering exceptional products, we’d love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As the Director of Product Management, Payables, you’ll set the vision and strategy for Wrapbook’s Payables Group, including productizing union agreements via our timecard and payroll batching solution. You’ll partner with Client Operations to ensure we have the right mix of automation and internal tools to calculate timecards accurately, with speed, and at scale.

Additionally, you’ll lead and grow a team of product managers and program managers to execute on the vision you've set that meets the demands of the entertainment industry and helps Wrapbook meet its growth goals and delight customers along the way.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Define the Vision: Lead the strategy for our Payables products, encompassing agreement support, configurations of rates and job classifications, timecards, hours-to-gross (HTG) calculations, P&H/Benefits calculations, and tools that empower internal teams to scale rapidly and better serve the entertainment industry.

  • Deliver Exceptional Products: Define and execute against a roadmap that balances long-term innovation with near-term impact, aligning with company goals and customer needs.

  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Client Operations, and Labor Relations to define and deliver impactful solutions that help Wrapbook meet its growth goals and delight customers along the way.

  • Own Key Relationships: Work closely with Union Operations and Payroll Operations to ensure we provide the functionality required to scale rapidly and maintain accuracy.

  • Help Elevate Product Management at Wrapbook: Contribute to the ongoing development of Wrapbook’s product management practice, fostering best practices and raising the bar for excellence.

  • Lead & Mentor: Lead a high-performing team of product managers and program managers, empowering them to grow in their careers.

What You'll Have

We’re looking for someone who combines strategic vision with a bias for action. You love navigating complexity and creating elegant solutions, and you thrive in a collaborative environment.
Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with a track record of leading successful products in complex, regulated environments.

  • 7+ years of experience managing and mentoring product teams, including both ICs and managers.

  • Expertise in defining and prioritizing strategic roadmaps, with the ability to clearly articulate tradeoffs and focus on what matters most.

  • Familiarity with workflows like hours-to-gross (HTG), payroll processes, or similar systems involving accuracy and detailed calculations.

  • Outstanding communication skills—you can rally teams, influence stakeholders, and tackle tough conversations with empathy and low ego.

  • A customer-centric mindset, always advocating for delightful, impactful experiences that solve real-world problems.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with union contracts and their implications for payroll and payables.

  • Knowledge of the entertainment industry or similar regulated industries with intricate workflows.

  • A passion for simplifying complex workflows without losing the necessary depth and precision.
