Reverse Engineer 2 (CCAs Accepted)

Perform technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, in order to ascertain functionality, capability, call-backs, assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise. Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.


Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).


Required Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
  • Doctoral degree with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Associates degree with 7 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. 


Relevant Experience
  • Relevant experience must be in malware reverse engineering.  
  • CISSP, GIAC GREM or CREA Certification is required.
  • Information Assurance Certification may be required 


Required Technical Skills
  • Malware analyst for EA Cyber Threats
  • Reverse engineering knowledge mandatory; IDApro and/or Ghidra
  • Malware experience preferred

$56.39 - $76.36 an hour
Pay Range: $56.39 - $76.36 per hour*
Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. *Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
