Work as an entry level planner buyer doing tasks such as PO creation, Supply Chain Reviews, Analyzing the metrics to determine how to unblock invoices for payment, attending scheduling meetings and working with the BU on material delivery.This Internship will be working out of Materials Distribution Center in Henderson, CO and will be part-time during the 2024 - 2025 school year starting January 2025 and full-time during the summer months.Responsibilities• Execute and coordinate material/service procurement & fulfillment activities.• Implement procurement strategies to achieve cost, schedule, and quality goals.• Support and align with inventory management, scheduling coordination, supplier performance management, and process improvement objectives.• Lead material/service procurement issues resolution, negotiate Supplier/customer disputes, and address performance issues.Requirements• Enrolled in a business, supply chain or related degree.• Experience with MS office• Strong written and verbal communicationAs a leading combination electricity and natural gas energy company, Xcel Energy offers a comprehensive portfolio of energy-related products and services to 3.4 million electricity and 1.9 million natural gas customers across eight Western and Midwestern states.
