Hi there! My name is Geo, and I’m the VP of Product at Zapier. We’ve recently hired a Director of Product for Enterprise. I’m assisting them in onboarding and building their team. At Zapier, we like to share our README’s. I am sharing my README with you so you can get to know me a bit better. I recognize that as much as we're interviewing you, you are also interviewing us! Don't worry, you will get a chance to connect with Jenica in the process and we will also share her README with you.

We're looking for three Product Managers to join our team to support our Enterprise product:

If you're excited by the prospect of making automation work for more people and have 3+ years of experience building enterprise products, we'd love to hear from you!

Product Manager, Vertical Products

Ready to make mission-critical automation easier than ever?

Zapier is on a mission to make automation work for everyone, and we're seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of a new set of products. These products will be built on Zapier’s robust platform, but packaged to meet the needs of specific customer segments.

In this role, you'll:

  • Work with a cross-functional team to find product market fit.

  • Regularly connect with customers to deeply understand their needs.

  • Collaborate with our broader Enterprise leadership team to bring these products to market.

This high-visibility role offers unique opportunities to make a significant impact while growing your career. You'll lead strategic initiatives that directly influence our upmarket expansion while working with cross-functional teams passionate about solving complex customer problems.

If you're excited about making automation work for more people and have 3+ years of experience in new product development (zero-to-one) for Enterprise B2B, we'd love to hear from you!

Senior Product Manager, Enterprise Identity Platform

Ready to architect the backbone of Zapier’s multi-product identity platform?

Zapier is on a mission to make automation work for everyone, and we're seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our Enterprise Identity Platform - the foundation that powers secure automation across our product suite. You'll define the strategy for our identity and access management platform, ensuring enterprise teams can confidently scale their automation while meeting strict security and compliance requirements.

In this role, you'll:

  • Drive the technical vision and roadmap for our multi-product identity platform

  • Partner with staff engineers, security teams, and other product teams to understand complex infrastructure needs

This high-visibility role combines deep technical leadership with enterprise customer impact. You'll shape core platform decisions that enable thousands of companies to automate securely while maintaining the simplicity Zapier is known for.

If you're passionate about building technical platforms and have 5+ years of experience as a platform PM, we'd love to hear from you!

Our philosophy for hiring

About You

(common across roles)

  • You have strong technical skills. You use your technical context to make better, faster decisions and to minimize technical debt. You have experience working on complex technical products at scale and are able to both bring the voice of the customer to engineers and translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders.

  • You communicate the vision for your team and then make it happen. You work with leadership to refine your team’s vision and set a roadmap for how you'll solve those problems. You know how to turn vision into goals, goals into a roadmap, and a roadmap into daily and weekly tasks for your team. You excel at keeping a cross-functional team working effectively and efficiently.

  • You know how to get results. Through collaboration with your team you routinely deliver meaningful results for the business. You share and celebrate and build momentum around positive results. You learn and course correct when you don’t get the results you want.

  • You are data-driven. You use data to uncover opportunities and understand what levers to pull to drive business results. You know how to measure the results of your work, test it with real users, and understand its downstream effects. You consider the long term impacts of experiments and look for more than just a short term boost to metrics.

  • You have ample design and analytics skills. You understand design patterns and can create functional specs and wireframes. You can use self-serve data exploration tools to support your own decision making. While you'll have resources on your team that are experts in these areas, you can fill in the gaps whenever needed.

  • You are a skilled written communicator. Zapier is a 100% remote team and writing is our primary means of communication. You can use written communication to communicate your team’s vision, roadmap, and progress. You know the right tool for the job whether it’s managing the day-to-day cadence of projects or building cross-company momentum around a project.

  • You love doing things efficiently. At Zapier, the work you do will have a disproportionate impact on the business. We believe in systems and processes that let us scale our impact to be larger than ourselves.

Things You’ll Do

  • Communicate a vision for the team looking out 3-12 months and build a roadmap to match that vision

  • Work in a small, empowered, cross-functional team alongside design, engineering, UX research, and data to decide what we build next and execute on that decision

  • Talk with our customers and stakeholders to more deeply understand the problems that we can address for them

  • Work closely with engineers and data analysts on solutions by writing specs and creating documentation

  • Develop a sufficient understanding of technical context to help make better, faster decisions, and work closely with engineers on solutions

  • Dig deep on data to understand trends and develop a better picture of the business, the product, or our customers.

  • Measure and report on the results of your work

What to Expect After You've Applied:

Thank you for your interest in this role! To ensure that every application receives the thoughtful attention it deserves, we will be accepting applications until January 13th. As the holiday season is a busy time for many, our team will begin reviewing applications and reaching out to candidates shortly after this date.

We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding during this time, and we look forward to connecting with you in the new year. Wishing you a wonderful holiday season!

How to Apply

At Zapier, we believe that diverse perspectives and experiences make us better, which is why we have a non-standard application process designed to promote inclusion and equity. We're looking for the best fit for each of our roles, regardless of the type of companies in your background, so we encourage you to apply even if your skills and experiences don’t exactly match the job description. All we ask is that you answer a few in-depth questions in our application that would typically be asked at the start of an interview process. This helps speed things up by letting us get to know you and your skillset a bit better right out of the gate. Please be sure to answer each question; the resume and CV fields are optional.

After you apply, you are going to hear back from us—even if we don’t see an immediate fit with our team. In fact, throughout the process, we strive to never go more than seven days without letting you know the status of your application. We know we’ll make mistakes from time to time, so if you ever have questions about where you stand or about the process, just ask your recruiter!

Our code of conduct provides a beacon for the kind of company we strive to be, and we celebrate our differences because those differences are what allow us to make a product that serves a global user base. Zapier will consider all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, consistent with applicable laws.

Zapier is committed to inclusion. As part of this commitment, Zapier welcomes applications from individuals with disabilities and will work to provide reasonable accommodations. If reasonable accommodations are needed to participate in the job application or interview process, please contact jobs@zapier.com

Application Deadline:

The anticipated application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later, or if the position is filled.
