About the role:
As the Head of Educator HR role at Zen you will be responsible for educator experience, training and development, performance management, safety and retention. The Head of Educator HR is crucial to our growth and you’ll play a significant role in the experience our educators, students and schools receive. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to apply themselves for a great cause and with great responsibility.
What you’ll be doing:
- Educator Policies and Handbook - Leave Policies, pay practices, benefits
- Educator Experience - Educator communications, engagement campaigns, feedback
- Training & Development - Upfront training and vetting, ongoing training program, badging program within app
- Performance Management - Gathering feedback on performance; Performance Improvement processes
- Educator & Student Safety - OSHA & ADA compliance, new educator vetting process, upfront and ongoing background check processes, safety training program, Injury reporting, Workers Compensation processes
- Depending on the candidate and full time vs part time, may require line management of related Zen employees
Requirements: 7+ years experience as a School District or School Leader in the US, accountable for HR function at their School District or School
