Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Payroll Partner to join our team in Munich. The Payroll Partner will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes for Germany and Austria, including data collection, verification, and validation of calculations prepared by vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with local payroll tax and social security regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, prepare reports, and handle employee inquiries through the Ticket system.
  • Assist in maintaining payroll data in Workday and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture team, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll processing and integration.
  • Support audits and participate in payroll-related process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Business Administration, Economics, Human Resources, Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Good understanding of payroll tax and social security regulation.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in German.
