We are looking for a Senior Total Rewards Analyst to help develop and execute on Zumiez' rewards strategy in 2024 and beyond! In this role, you will have a consultative mindset to help drive analysis and decisions by leading projects and tasks key to achieving business objectives, allowing Zumiez to provide a best-in-class total rewards package for our employees. This person will be a key player leading business objectives that determine the compensation and benefits strategies for Zumiez that inform our overall Total Rewards Plan. You will also support leadership in assessing budget, business, and people impact for individual & broader compensation decisions.To support these objectives, knowledge not directly required but preferred include:· Power BI/Snowflake understanding· Salary survey database administration experience· HRIS utilization and report creation experience (UKG Preferred)Job Responsibilities – Includes the below key functions in addition to duties as assigned:Compensation• Serve as a key partner in Zumiez annual merit cycle for all operations.• Partner cross-functionally with Zumiez Store Team, Distribution Center Team, and Home Office teams on compensation projects. This will involve leading projects and serving as the project plan lead.• Lead minimum wage & compression changes for Zumiez.• Forecast compliance and marketplace changes and provide analysis to support business considerations.• Lead salary survey response data gathering and report submission.• Provide compensation recommendations to leadership tasked with making compensation decisions (i.e., support market pricing).• Complete annual Pay Equity Analysis and make recommendations to business unit leaders as appropriate.· Complete annual regulatory filings (CEO Pay Ratio, CA EEO-1 pay data reporting, etc.).• Develop tools to empower people managers to have impactful total rewards conversations with their employees.• Responsible for performing financial modeling and creating budgeting tools to help Zumiez forecast costs and make fiscally responsible decisions.Benefits/Retirement• Provide support at broker and vendor meetings, with the potential to leading meetings when appropriate.• Partner with internal stakeholders to drive reporting and data analytics.• Support the annual external retirement plan audit for Zumiez 401(k) Plan.• Support administration of Zumiez' equity plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program, including enrollment, day-to-day operations, and grant funding, as needed.· Event Support: Support National and Home Office events; including attending training, participating in planning committees and assisting with ad hoc projects.Attributes:• Humble, curious, and a voracious learner;• Problem solver, accepts new challenges and the unknown as an opportunity to optimize;• Approaches objectives with a plan and a detail-oriented mindset;• Forward thinking, creative, and collaborative;• Approachable, calm, and confident;• High degree of emotional intelligence;• Precise and effective in verbal and written communication;• Embraces risk and fosters the idea that fair is almost never equal;• Seeks creative solutions, dives into the unknown, and feels comfortable thinking out of the box;• Thrives in the complexity of working through influence without authority;• Self-Driven, able to plan and prioritize assigned work;• Flexible, ability to execute well in a fast-paced organization.Qualifications• 5-7 years of demonstrated ability in compensation, benefits, and/or financial analysis.• BA/BS in HR, Business, or a closely related field is preferred.• Advanced Excel and analytical skills (experience in reporting out of HRIS software is a plus!).• Knowledge of federal and state-level employment, compensation, and benefit related laws.Physical Demands & Work Environment· The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
