POSITION OVERVIEW

The Project Manager will support the VP of Data Centers with all aspects of Data Center Strategy and Development. This role involves learning all aspects of the Data Center & Energy project development process, including collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring the successful development of data centers. Travel up to 25% is expected in this position.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Project Management: Own and lead multiple project workstreams, understanding scope, cost, and schedule implications. This includes taking comprehensive notes, action items (+ follow up), and ability to understand technical concepts in a dynamic work environment.
  • Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify and pursue site selection opportunities, including the provisioning of utilities (e.g., power, water, fiber).
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as support on all client engagements, organizing customer meetings/logistics, presentations, and contract negotiations. Support maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at various organizational levels, from data center executives to technical staff.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in project management, site selection, business development, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in project management, real estate transactions, infrastructure development, and/or utilities.
  • Proven track record of effectively handling ambiguity, multiple workstreams, and competing priorities
  • Basic understanding of the data center market, including client needs, industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and stakeholders (up to 25% of the time).


$100,000 - $125,000 a year
