The Chief Human Resources Officer is responsible for developing the people, culture, and HR operational initiatives within the organization, ensuring company's growth.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a high-profile position, reporting to the CEO or another senior management personnel that the President of the Company may designate. The Sr Vice President, HR manages all aspects of the employee experience at 174PG, including: recruiting and onboarding, performance management, HR systems, office management, compliance and employee relations, benefits and compensation, and learning and development. This position is located in Irvine, California.
Responsibilities- Responsible for HR policy:
- Create and maintain internal policies, procedures, and audit mechanisms that are compliant with applicable law, including US wage and hour, leave requirements, ADA and other regulations and standards.
- Effectively interface with all levels of the organization to coordinate and oversee all HR related activities.
- Champion diversity & inclusion across the organization
Organizational Design & Employee Engagement- Build a lasting culture of collaboration, teamwork and commitment to the vision and mission of the organization
- Ensure the design and development of the organization allows for team and individual success through OD / OE interventions
- Build cohesion across the leadership team to drive organizational performance
Recruitment- Structure a recruitment framework that streamlines the recruitment process and empowers our teams to identify top-talent.
- Guide the strategic hiring practices of the organization
- Responsible for managing the employee performance evaluation process.
- Work with management to update company bonus program and compensation targets.
- Implement new employee orientation process to foster positive attitude towards company goals.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of 174 Power Global.
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management.
Qualifications- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or another related field in business administration, required;
- Minimum of 15+ years of relevant human resources experience required;
- Minimum of 7+ years in managerial role required;
- Public company experience preferred;
- Renewable Energy experience a plus, but not required;
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and administration;
- Strong knowledge of HR-related state and federal regulations;
- Strong knowledge of various benefit programs;
- Strong Knowledge of ATS systems;
- Strong proficiency using software programs such as MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
- Advanced reporting skills using Excel;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Must be adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- Must possess good interpersonal skills and be a self-motivated team player;
- Sound judgement and ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality;
- Deadline-oriented with an ability to prioritize tasks;
- Strong prioritization, communication, and organizational skills; and the ability to quickly work into new tasks and accommodate new circumstances; and
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving dynamic, environment.
$275,000 - $325,000 a year
