Analyst, Store Operations - Store Process and Omnichannel

Company Description

The Store Operations team is the Global Home Office (GHO) support for store associates and operations in Abercrombie & Fitch, Abercrombie Kids, Hollister, and Gilly Hicks stores worldwide. The team is responsible for communicating and training on new initiatives, providing staffing and payroll guidance, and maintaining store technology. In addition, the team coordinates with GHO partners on opportunities and challenges in store operations.

 

The Analyst, Store Operations Store Process and Omnichannel is responsible for supporting omnichannel initiatives in stores worldwide. This role is the first point of contact for stores on all things process and omnichannel, supporting stores through continuous process efficiency and improvement review, reporting analytics and performance, communication of updates or rollouts, and investigation of system issues. This position maintains cross-functional partnerships with multiple departments and a strong connection to stores and stores leadership, providing day-to-day support and insights, while also driving improvement through efficiency enhancements for stores.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.  

 

What Will You Be Doing? 

  • Provide weekly support and guidance for stores merchandise and omnichannel processes globally.
  • Use store feedback and internal analysis of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and introduce improved workflows
  • Maintain existing reporting and recurring tasks for store process and omnichannel capabilities and build ad-hoc analyses as needed
  • Build and manage budgeting, projection, and labor allocation for store process and omnichannel tasks; including peak planning to maximize store preparedness while meeting varied requests in a changing environment
  • Participate in the integration and evolution of RFID technology and data throughout store processes and omnichannel
  • Build post-deployment analytics on new initiatives and capital projects
  • Develop working knowledge of emerging trends in retail industry
  • Be an advocate for stores management with cross-functional partners at Global Home Office

 

What Do You Need To Bring? 

  • Organized, with high attention to detail, and root cause analysis capability
  • Ability to generate new ideas and create solutions with the future in mind
  • Ability to listen to customers, both internal and external, and apply insight
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to escalate issues
  • Knowledge of data analysis techniques and strong analytical mindset
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of PowerBI/Oracle BI preferred
  • 6-8+ years’ experience within retail preferred, with a focus on process efficiency, continuous improvement, or RFID 
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
