Associate Solutions Consultant - German speaker

The AssociateSolutions Consultant (SC) The SC plays a critical role in both pre-sales and post-sales support, leading technical discovery sessions to align ActiveCampaign’s solutions with customer business needs and delivering tailored, high-impact consultations. Operating in a hybrid capacity, the SC supports high-level German-speaking accounts throughout the sales process, collaborating closely with Account Executives and Senior Solutions Consultants to ensure client success, with a strong focus on the DACH Market.


What your day could consist of:
  • Support Sales/Post Sales: Manage German-speaking accounts in a hybrid role, supporting both sales and post-sales 
  • Discovery Sessions: Lead comprehensive discovery sessions to identify customer business challenges, aligning ActiveCampaign’s capabilities to address specific needs and strategic objectives
  • Proof of Concept Demonstrations: Develop and present customised proof-of-concept demos with technical topics, clearly illustrating ActiveCampaign’s value in meeting customer requirements and supporting business objectives for both sales and post-sales teams
  • Collaboration with Senior Solutions Consultants: Work alongside Senior team members on complex opportunities to validate technical feasibility, provide in-depth product insights, and ensure a seamless handoff for technical validations
  • Regional Market Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert for the German market within EMEA, providing insights to ensure solutions align with local business practices and expectations
Additional Responsibilities
  • Internal Team Collaboration: Share insights from discovery sessions with internal teams, contributing strategically to customer strategy and account planning
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Keep up with industry trends, feature updates, and market changes to provide informed consultations


What is needed:
  • Experience: 2+ years  in a customer-facing, technical pre-sales role (e.g., Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect) within the SaaS industry
  • Technical Acumen: Strong knowledge of APIs, data structures, and custom integrations. Proficiency with ActiveCampaign’s platform is a plus, along with experience in CRM, marketing automation, or e-commerce integration technologies
  • Sales Mindset: Excellent communicator with the ability to translate technical solutions into valuable business insights for potential clients
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating complex sales cycles, able to adjust to different customer needs, especially for German-based accounts within EMEA
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong team player capable of working cross-functionally with AEs, Solutions, and others to deliver complex, tailored solutions
  • Resourcefulness: Self-driven and proactive, with problem-solving skills and an ability to find solutions even with limited guidance
  • German Language Skills: Fluent or highly proficient in German (written and spoken) for effective client engagement and communication
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Industry Expertise: Experience in the marketing automation or SaaS industry
  • Technical Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with platforms like Zapier, Segment, Looker, Salesforce, Shopify, and WooCommerce
  • Custom Reporting Experience: Background in creating or advising on custom reporting solutions using tools like Looker or Tableau
  • API and Backend Knowledge: Experience with APIs and backend languages to understand application development from a developer’s perspective, enhancing technical discussions with clients
