Pricing and Packaging Director

Do you want to lead a new pricing and packaging function with massive impact for a global SaaS platform? As our Pricing and Packaging Director, you’ll define, develop, and execute strategies that drive growth for the ActiveCampaign platform. You’ll collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth, ensure competitive positioning, and navigate key trade-offs with a structured, analytical approach. We’re looking for an authentic, strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings proven expertise in SaaS pricing and packaging. This position will report to the VP of Product Marketing.


What your day could consist of:
  • Design Pricing Strategies: Build and implement pricing and packaging strategies for current and future products, incorporating competitive insights, financial analysis, and customer feedback.
  • Analyze Market Trends: Provide actionable insights to senior leadership by evaluating market trends and the competitive landscape, ensuring strategies align with customer needs and future growth.
  • Optimize Pricing and Packaging: Use analytics to identify opportunities for packaging improvements and model the impact of changes using product usage, retention, and financial data.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Sales, CX, Finance, and Marketing to to advocate for and align pricing strategies with product roadmaps and drive revenue growth.
  • Support Sales, CX & Marketing: Develop messaging and materials that effectively communicate value to prospects and customers.
  • Monitor Performance: Track the effectiveness of pricing strategies and make adjustments to optimize results.
  • Lead Pricing Governance: Chair a cross-functional Pricing Committee to establish policies and maintain consistency in pricing practices.


What is needed:
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS pricing and packaging
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, sales, operations and/or related field 
  • Experience with the SMB market, transactional/usage pricing metrics, and self-serve/PLG products
  • MarTech or adjacent industry experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with quantitative and qualitative analyses, financial modeling, sensitivity analyses, and pricing research methodologies such as van Westendorp, Gabor Granger, conjoint, etc.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, be flexible and able to adapt to changing scenarios; someone who sets strategy and rolls up their sleeves and gets the job done 
  • Superb communications skills across all mediums, and all levels of the organization, and the ability to gain cross-functional alignment


$198,000 - $242,000 a year
Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base rate only and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.

The actual salary depends on a candidate’s skills, experience, and work location. Candidates may also be eligible for other role-specific compensation such as equity, an annual performance bonus, or other incentive compensation depending on the role.
