ACT Education Corp is looking for a Lead Data Architect to guide the standardization and implementation of enterprise information architecture, contributing significantly to the organization's mission of helping individuals succeed in education and the workplace.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include developing enterprise-level data models, guiding architectural design sessions, and leading process improvements while collaborating with technology teams to address business needs.
Skills: Required skills include extensive experience in microservice architecture, large data volumes, Java, AWS data services, and strong knowledge of relational and no-SQL databases.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, experience in Agile development, and familiarity with data visualization tools and machine learning technologies.
Location: This is a remote position, available to candidates based in the US, with potential onsite options in the Iowa City area.
Compensation: $135000 - $155000 / Annually

We are seeking a Lead Data Architect to help us fulfill that mission.
The Lead Data Architect will be highly involved in project design from a data perspective. Providing guidance related to standardization of data across the enterprise in a rapidly changing environment. Provide thought leadership in developing and implementing ACT's enterprise information architecture, including defining principles, standards and designing data models. Is accountable for solution design and technology choices of those solutions.
The finalist will be hired at the salary and level commensurate with their qualifications. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary in the range of $135,000 to $155,000. ACT manages salaries within the range based on relevant factors including, skills, experience, and internal equity. The position is incentive eligible.
