AECOM’s West Region is actively seeking a highly motivated Geotechnical Project Engineer to join the Orange, California Geo-Civil team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on very challenging projects including Dams, Levees, Pipelines, Bridges, Tunnels, Building Structures, and other Facilities, and collaborate with a wide range of different disciplines.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing subsurface investigations, reviewing laboratory testing, and monitoring construction activities to ensure everything aligns with engineering standards. You’ll partner with various disciplines, bringing your expertise to perform in-depth geotechnical analyses and preparing comprehensive reports filled with insightful recommendations. With a focus on quality, you’ll also assemble geotechnical data using software tools like AutoCAD and Excel, adhering to our QA/QC requirements. If you hold a Bachelor’s degree and have at least four years of experience, or a demonstrated equivalent, it could be the perfect fit for you. A Master’s or PhD in Civil Engineering, along with extensive experience, would only enhance your candidacy.
