We are currently recruiting a Senior Design Manager with solid experience in Railway Design and Team Leading, to be based in the Spain Enterprise Capabilities Office in Madrid. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, incorporating a combination of both in-office and remote working schedules”, as outlined below.
The selected candidate will join our busy and expanding experienced team with special focus on US, Canada and ANZ markets. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of Civil Projects across the globe. Our internal clients work for private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors.
Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering design packages for many years throughout the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand among others. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation and Water projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team for the Europe Global Delivery
Minimum Requirements
• Proven track record of technical work on Railway design collaborating with international and multi-cultural teams (+10 years), combined with project management or design management experience (+2 years) on large international Railway Projects.
• Strong technical leadership of teams in the delivery of Railway projects focused on delivering for the Client.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within teams or in a wider collaboration.
• Proven commitment with Quality Control Policy and Quality Management System.
• Team management experience.
• Experience working in the US, Canada and/or ANZ will be highly valuable.
• Experience working with design teams located in different countries.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in civil engineering
• US and/or Australia Professional Engineer license will be considered favorably.
