POSITION: Staff Environmental or Civil Engineer
LOCATION: Greater Los Angeles, CA area
POSITION SUMMARY
The Staff Engineer is a professional who has gained a broad working knowledge and experience in performing environmental site assessments, analyzing and evaluating environmental data, writing technical reports, and contributing to the Site Mitigation team’s growth. In this role, the Staff Engineer will begin to independently manage projects and take on additional responsibilities within the team.

Join AEI Consultants as a Staff Engineer specializing in Environmental or Civil Engineering in the vibrant El Segundo area of California. In this dynamic role, you'll get the chance to dive deep into environmental site assessments, analyze critical data, and prepare detailed technical reports that make an impact. As a Staff Engineer, you'll start managing your own projects, gaining independence as you complete a minimum of two ASTM Phase II Environmental Site Assessments weekly. Your responsibilities will include field activities like sample collection, inspections, and data recording, all aimed at ensuring we meet our project goals. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with subcontractors and play a vital role in onboarding them. With a focus on teamwork and individual accountability, we expect you to maintain or exceed utilization goals and adhere to our health and safety protocols. If you have around 3 to 4 years of relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines, we want to hear from you!
