1st Shift Production $15/hourJob DescriptionThe candidate will aid the polishing department in getting rims ready to ship out. This involves placing rims into a polishing device and polishing them for shipment after they have gone through cleaning stages. The role typically involves handling 7-10 rims per day in a dusty and dirty environment. The company provides N95 masks and other safety items if preferred. The use of an overhead crane to move parts is required, ensuring that lifting is not necessary. Due to the nature of the product, the environment is dusty and dirty. The company refinishes rims, cleaning, repainting, and polishing them. The standard shift is from 5:55 am to 2:30 pm, with a typical workweek of 48 hours. The polishing side usually works 6 days per week, with one weekend off per month, and additional hours may be required. Steel-toed boots are mandatory, and the company will provide any requested PPE, such as back braces, dust covers, gloves, and ear plugs. Employees must be clean-shaven if they wish to learn the painting processes.
