The Regional Loss Prevention Business Partner (RLPBP) is a key leadership position within the Amazon Physical Retail Loss Prevention Team. The RLPBP leads the effort to efficiently and effectively provide security services and asset protection (People, Property, & Data) in a designated area of responsibility, covering multiple locations across Amazon’s North American Physical Retail Stores. The RLPBP reports to the Regional Loss Prevention Manager responsible for their area, aids them in supporting various retail store concepts and working with cross-functional teams throughout the organization. The position is field based.

Key job responsibilities
* Develop leaders and direct reports through training, mentorship, and project partnership
* Lead strategic network-wide initiatives and report on key performance indicators to improve efficiency
* Enable teams to identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analysis using data to define mitigating actions
* Engage, train, and influence business partners to identify and mitigate risk
* Oversee and lead investigations of internal and external theft and fraud; conduct interviews when appropriate
* Subject matter expert in evaluating and implementing improved physical and general security best practices
* Support recruiting efforts in order to hire, develop and influence the team and region to drive Loss Prevention best practices
* Implement loss mitigation strategies and manage incident response planning and execution per policy
* Domestic regional travel up to 50% of the time. Work in an industrial environment that requires walking up to 5 miles a day and ability to lift up to 20 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation. This role covers 24/7 operations and must be able to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Worldwide Operations Security (WWOS) is the global organization that supports field Loss Prevention and is designed to support Amazon’s Worldwide Operations, as well as affiliate and retail businesses, by creating and maintaining a work environment that is both prepared and secure through global security centers of excellence staffed by subject matter experts in people and asset protection. We accomplish this by creating policy and implementation guidelines; training leadership and staff; using technology to eliminate subjectivity, complexity, and variation; identifying, preparing for, and mitigating risk; and auditing our practices to ensure compliance.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years relevant professional or military experience
* 5+ years of experience in the following: security service, loss prevention, asset protection, audit, investigations, law enforcement, risk management, data analytics, inventory control, quality assurance or related field
* 3+ years people management experience
* 3+ years of experience making and influencing risk-guided decisions by leveraging data and metrics
* 3+ years intermediate application experience with MS Office Professional Suite, including Excel to manipulate and analyze data

Preferred Qualifications

* Relevant multi-site experience with varied business types such as logistics, warehouses and/or distribution centers
* Relevant experience with physical security systems, investigation techniques, and/or management of contract security officers
* Experience with Lean Six Sigma concepts or PMP certification
* Interviewing experience; Wicklander and Zulawski, LPQ, CPP, LPC, CFI or other relevant certifications
* Relevant experience in business writing and communicating with a wide range of senior stakeholders
* Workplace incident mitigation or de-escalation and Business Continuity planning experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
