Job Overview:

As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining user-focused technical documentation for our software products. You will work closely with our development team to understand the technical aspects of our products and translate them into clear and concise user manuals, help guides, and FAQs. You will also collaborate with our marketing team to ensure the accuracy and consistency of technical information across all communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with our development team to understand the technical aspects of our products

- Write, edit, and proofread technical documentation such as user manuals, help guides, and FAQs

- Work with our marketing team to ensure consistency of technical information across all communication channels

- Conduct research and gather information from subject matter experts to create accurate and up-to-date documentation

- Use various tools and software to create and publish technical documentation

- Continuously review and improve existing documentation to ensure accuracy and user-friendliness

- Develop and maintain a style guide to ensure consistency in writing style and tone across all documentation

- Coordinate with project managers to prioritize and manage documentation projects according to deadlines

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, or related field

- 2 years of experience as a Technical Writer in a software development environment

- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills

- Proficiency in using documentation and publishing tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, Adobe Technical Communication Suite, etc.

- Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate them into user-friendly language

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Experience in Agile development methodology is a plus
