Technical Recruiter / Sourcer job at Amentum. Norfolk, VA.Amentum has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Recruiter/Sourcer (Remote) to join our Talent Acquisition Team. This role encourages you to be innovative, think outside the box and share your expertise/knowledge within a growing and exciting organization that values your initiative, creativity and drive for results.Responsibilities include:• Partner and collaborate with stakeholders developing, building and executing staffing and sourcing strategies to effectively attract and recruit best in class talent for critical roles, current openings and build networks and pipelines for future opportunities.• Create and execute sourcing strategies to include referral generation, online social networking, resume database mining, and search engine sourcing to attract and engage passive candidates.• Use proactive methods to network with industry experts and professional industry-related associations.• Be an Amentum Ambassador, promote employment brand messaging that drives traffic to open roles and future opportunities by establishing and promoting positive relationships.• Ensure successful candidate identification within the identified time frames.• Build pipelines and cultivate candidates in high demand and in niche areas as determined by market needs and business strategies.• Create a positive candidate experience (for both the selected and non-selected candidates) ensuring timely communication throughout the recruiting process.• Build relationships and communicate consistently and proactively throughout the recruitment process to ensure all participants in the hiring process are updated and well-informed.• Keep up to date with knowledge of industry employment trends, compensation, benefits, etc.• Have an innovative mind and approach in problem-solving and recommend new ideas.• Mentor and train other recruiters in sourcing techniques and strategies.• Plan and represent Talent Acquisition and Amentum at internal and external events.Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent.• At least 5 years job-related experience or equivalent to include recruiting for STEM roles.• Must have experience recruiting and sourcing for cleared contracts and positions.• Must have experience supporting proposals and business development initiatives from inception through post award.• Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems, resume databases, and sourcing tools.• Ability to collaborate as a team but also work independently and proactively problem-solving, developing creative approaches to sourcing and engaging talent from underrepresented groups.• Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization to successfully manage customer relationships.• Working knowledge of employment laws and practices to include EEO, OFCCP, federal, state requirements.• Ability to handle confidential documents and information with discretion.• Must have the flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, weekends, etc. to support business needs.• Ability to travel as needed.• Ability to obtain a secret US government clearance.
