We provide HR expertise, strategic and timely support, creative and competent advice, meaningful and courteous service, and efficient and reliable processes.Job SummaryRe-posted: 4/14/2025This position will be responsible for managing and implementing alternative work arrangements within Augusta University, including flexible schedules, flexible work options, remote work options, and other non-traditional work structures, ensuring compliance with AU, USG, State and Federal policies while supporting employee needs and maximizing productivity.ResponsibilitiesThe duties include, but are not limited to:Serve as the primary contact for Alternate Work Arrangements for Augusta University. Overseeing and executing alternative work arrangements at Augusta University, which includes receiving, approving, and tracking all such arrangements. This involves facilitating the implementation of approved arrangements, monitoring employee usage, and evaluating performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of alternate work policies.Educate employees and managers on Augusta University's Alternate Work Arrangement policy, guidelines, and best practices.Coordinate all out-of-state and remote work requests, including collaborating with the AWA Committee and Payroll to establish new states (if applicable).Work closely with Payroll to ensure accurate state tax deductions are applied to employees' pay.Support the upkeep of policies related to alternative work arrangements, including defining eligibility criteria, approval processes, and employee expectations.Manage and maintain all Alternate Work Arrangements in the electronic records system.Perform all other job-related duties as assigned and essential to provide top level service.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized state or federal accrediting organization and three years of HR or related data analysis experience. Experience with HR information systems (HRIS).Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityExperience with PeopleSoft HRMSExperience working in Higher Education and/or working with non-US citizensKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesABILITIES- Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data to assess trends, effectiveness, and compliance- Ability to effectively communicate with faculty, staff, and leadership to facilitate understanding and adoption of Alternate Work Arrangements.KNOWLEDGE- Knowledge of institutional policies, procedures, and guidelines related to remote work, flexible work arrangements and telework.SKILLS- Proficiency in an HRIS system and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.) for tracking work arrangementsShift/Salary/BenefitsShift: Days; Monday - Friday (Work outside of normal business hours may be required)Salary Range: $42,200 annuallyPay Band: B7Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the positionRecruitment Period: Until FilledAugusta University offers a variety of benefits to full-time benefits-eligible employees and some of our half-time (or more) employees.Benefits that may be elected could include health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, Teachers Retirement System (or Optional Retirement Plan), as well as earned vacation time, sick leave, and 13 paid holidays.Also, our full-time employees who have been employed with us successfully for more than 6 months can be considered for the Tuition Assistance Program.
