Head of Growth

Blockovate is a new and ambitious marketing agency on a mission to help innovative blockchain based solutions reach their target audience.

We work with new blockchain projects and help transform their marketing efforts, ensuring their project reaches the right audience, and achieves its necessary goals.

Role

As the Head of Growth, your mission is to identify, test, and scale new marketing initiatives that drive growth for our presale projects. This role is not just about evolving existing channels conversion. We're looking for someone who truly understands the funnel for crypto presales and can bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table. This role is all about experimentation, creative problem-solving, and making data-driven decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with the leadership team to launch new initiatives, test their effectiveness, and continuously refine strategies for optimal results.

Key Responsibilities

Innovation & Experimentation 

  • Research and identify untapped marketing channels and growth opportunities within the crypto space. 
  • Test non-traditional channels (e.g., Web3 communities, niche forums, new social platforms) to drive presale engagement.
  • Assess and analyse current funnels across content, social media, community engagement, and KOL strategies to identify opportunities for greater impact. Your focus will be on optimizing what's already in place while driving innovation in areas like referral programs, gamification, and user acquisition incentives to boost growth and engagement.

Data-Driven Growth

  • Establish clear KPIs for all experiments and measure their impact against growth objectives. 
  • Evaluate internal and external tools to assess campaign performance, leveraging analytics to extract actionable insights that inform and enhance future initiatives.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership.

Channel Discovery

  • Stay on top of the latest platforms, technologies, and trends to keep our strategies ahead of the curve.
  • Experiment with alternative channels, like Web3 communities, niche forums, and emerging social platforms, to boost awareness and engagement during presales.
  • Develop and test creative growth strategies, including referral programs, gamification, and incentive-driven user acquisition.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure growth initiatives directly support key business objectives and deliver measurable results.
  • Identify and engage with external partners (e.g., influencers, platforms, agencies) to drive new business opportunities and test high-impact strategies aimed at meeting growth KPIs.

Essential

  • Demonstrated success in leading growth for crypto presales, with experience spanning multiple project types and stages.
  • In-depth knowledge of the crypto ecosystem, particularly around presale fundraising mechanics, tokenomics, and emerging trends.
  • Expertise in data-driven growth strategies, including A/B testing, performance tracking, and continuous funnel optimization.
  • Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset, capable of identifying, testing, and scaling unconventional growth tactics tailored to diverse presale models.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with fluency in tools like Google Analytics, Excel, and top growth marketing platforms to drive KPI-focused decisions and campaign performance.

Preferred

  • Experience launching impactful campaigns within Web3 communities and crypto-native platforms such as Discord, Telegram, and X (formerly Twitter), with a strong network across T1 CEXs, KOLs, and KOL agencies.
  • Solid understanding of blockchain technology, tokenomics, and the behaviors that drive engagement and conversion among crypto users.
  • Proven ability to scale experimental marketing efforts into fully developed, high-performing channels across diverse project types.
  • £75,000 - £85,000 depending on experience
  • Remote working policy - Work from the office, at home, or a combination of both
  • 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank & public holidays) plus an additional day for every year worked
