This team will encompass Government subcontracts, Legal requirements & Supplier Diversity. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of Supply Chain operations, driving organizational and policy change to enhance Blue Origin’s bottom-line.As an individual contributing senior level Supply Chain Project/Program Manager, will report to the Director, Supply Chain, and will be responsible for the management of all Service Act Agreements, CREDAs, AFRL, and other Government Agency Agreements. You will partner to develop, mentor, coach, and engage the team to provide an extraordinary Customer Service experience for Blue’s Internal Customers and Blue’s Supply Chain. You facilitate and lead the development of policies, procedures, templates, and tools to drive consistency, accuracy and compliancy of the Blue Origin Business Unit (BU) support. You will work cross-functionally to develop what good looks like, including creation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLA) and hold the team accountable to the performance parameters established. You will grow, cultivate and attract the best talent to ensure success.Key candidate attributes to facilitate success in this role include influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities of this leader include but are not limited to driving Supply Chain functional performance, working closely with our Supply Chain Management, Legal, Sales Marketing & Strategy, and Finance teams to provide seamless support for our Blue Origin programs and products. You will develop, track and manage the performance of each Service Act Agreement (SAA), function, including financial management (i.e., EVMS, budgets, targets, working capital, material sales, etc.); supplier management (i.e., Material Status, Supplier Risk/Opportunity management, supplier performance, supply chain metrics, etc.), and requirements management (i.e. FAR/DFARS, ITAR, OPSEC, security classification guides, public law, quality, warranty, etc.). This leader will be competent in Blue Origin Supply Chain compliance standards, strategies and initiatives. You will bring unparalleled leadership skills, excellent oral and written skills, solid communication skills, knowledge of Terms and Conditions, an aptitude for DoD contracting, SAA & CRADA requirements, and an understanding of launch service contracts, the ability to lead a diverse team with varying requirements and priorities in support of the business and financial acumen. This leader requires technical leadership competencies to form strategies to construct various contracting types for major procurement activities to meet the requirements of the programs and needs of the business to include long range procurement agreements, sourcing partnerships, continuous improvement initiatives, and identification of opportunities for enhanced efficiencies.Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience, Master's degree with 6 years of experience Supply Chain or related industry experience.• In-depth working knowledge of FAR/DFAR and general contract law principles• Significant understanding of US Government and non-US Government / Commercial acquisitions/contracting• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance as needed for the business.• Experience in engaging with and influencing leadership teams.• Strong analytical skills, data driven with experience in establishing and tracking program metrics.• Track record of managing complex technology projects with aggressive schedules and scarce resources.• Superior communication skills (written and verbal), leadership abilities, negotiation skills and the ability to team in a cross functional environment are required to perform in this position.• Demonstrated ability to work across disciplines with engineering, design, and project management counterparts to deliver products and services.• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.• Experience establishing & maintaining KPIs to track and monitor performance and develop improvement plans.• Demonstrated negotiation skills developed from contracts, proposal management, supplier management, capture management or similar negotiating activities.• Ability to develop and execute project plans within budget and schedule constraints, ability to simultaneously manage multiple programs and priorities.• Travel expected up to 50% of the time• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred Qualifications• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Coupa system(s)• Knowledge of SAAs, CREDAs• Previous experience working directly with NASA and other Government AgenciesSpecial Mentions• Relocation provided• On site Monday - Friday required• Interviews will include a technical screenApplications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.Inclusivity StatementDon’t meet all desired requirements?
