As a Sales Operations Specialist at We Are BMF, you will support the sales and marketing team, including project managing RFI and RFP responses, overseeing CRM systems and handling administrative tasks as requested. You will play a key part in facilitating effective sales cycles by ensuring that the sales organization operates efficiently. You work with sales representatives to improve their pipeline tracking, identifying opportunities to optimize processes and provide training and onboarding support to internal and external sales reps.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline and CRM Management:

  • Lead RFI responses, including collating information across departments and ensuring accurate, timely and seamless submission via client’s designated method or portal
  • Create custom sales presentations tailored to clients
  • Manage CRM systems to ensure accurate data and streamline sales workflows.
  • Improve sales processes, identify opportunities for process improvement to streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and drive productivity in the sales organization.

Administrative:

  • Assist the sales team with scheduling, project management and reporting
  • Support executive leadership in preparing for weekly sales team meetings, capture and distribute recap notes following all meetings
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for outside sales team:
    • Manage contracting and payment for outside sales representatives
    • Brief on company materials and positioning, as well as new priority opportunities
    • Assists in the onboarding of new sales representatives by providing training on CRM systems, sales processes, and sales tools.
  • 1-2+ years of proven experience as an Account Coordinator, Business Development Coordinator or Executive Assistant
  • Strong experience with CRM systems to support efficient sales processes.
  • Strong communication skills for working with internal stakeholders, sales team members, and clients.
  • Experience in project management and process improvement to implement effective sales strategies and streamline workflows.
  • A proven problem-solving aptitude to assist with day-to-day Business Development needs 
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong computer literacy – including familiarity with Keynote, Excel and Outlook, Google Docs
  • Calm, polite, and professional attitude
  • Ability to travel when required
