What You’ll Do

The Brand Management - Entertainment Fall (September-December) Intern will acquire hands-on experience in the world of Brand Management. The Brand Management - Entertainment team drives the success of Authentic’s world-renowned business across all of the brands in the Entertainment portfolio. As an intern on our team, you’ll learn the ins, outs, and nuts and bolts of what it takes to ensure continued organic growth and viability in the global market across all channels through strategic licensing programs.

What you’ll be working on

  • Fill out request forms for new deals and letters of authorization
  • Work with PR to submit Newsletter Requests for all Authentic partners
  • Summarize new contracts and amendments
  • Work on ideating direction for new style guides and/or supplements for Creative team
  • Create decks for outreach
  • Product Merchandising
  • Brainstorm new business opportunities 
  • Analyze the Icons Business

Must Haves 

  • Currently enrolled university student
  • Available to work up to 20 hours per week
  • Able to work onsite in our NYC office
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty and make things happen.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortability in a high-paced, collaborative environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and G Suite
  • Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex tasks

 

Primary Location Salary Range:

The hourly rate for an undergraduate student intern in New York, NY, is $15.

The hourly rate for a graduate student intern in New York, NY, is $20.
