In this position, you will assist with over- arching controls and risk assessments, cross departmental and multiple site location collaboration pertaining to possible security incidents, data loss prevention and entitlement management. You will play a critical role in ensuring our organization's compliance with internal and external controlsWe are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to our Newark, NJ office with a 2 day per week in office expectation and the flexibility to work remotely.Responsibilities• Compliance Monitoring and Coordination: Work collaboratively with audit and functional groups to track compliance projects, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of issues.• Engage with relevant teams to understand SOC controls and audit processes, gathering necessary evidence and providing guidance on control processes. Risk Management and Remediation: Oversee vulnerability remediation processes, manage residual risk, handle risk exceptions, and implement corrective actions.• Monitor changes to information security standards and help assess their impact on applications, systems, and technology.• Process Optimization and Reporting: Develop process automations to streamline operations, enhance reporting mechanisms, and establish governance practices.• Manage risk assessment for Business Continuity, ensuring adherence to established templates and tools.• Governance and Control: Support a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with internal policies, standard operating procedures, and information security protocols.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent job related experience• Demonstrated functional expertise in risk and control processes, preferably acquired through formal education and experience. - Previous experience managing compliance projects with a sound understanding of controls and audit processes.• Strong analytical skills to assess risk and develop mitigation strategies. Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with senior management and cross-functional teams.• Ability to work independently and as a project manager, providing guidance and leadership to others when necessary.• Interpersonal Skills: Explains complex information to others in straightforward situationsCompensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $70,000 - $85,000.
