The School Health Aide is under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. The School Health Aide primarily works independently in the school health office with the nurse available by phone and beeperOther Information:• Knowledge of basic First Aid, CPR, ability to be certified to administer medications under the Registered Nurse delegation procedure and State Regulations (244-CMR 3.05)• HEALTH REQUIREMENT: Hepatitis B advisable as per Cambridge Health Alliance employee health program OSHA guidelines PPD and Employee Health Clearance Proof of vaccination or immunity to Rubella or MMR• EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalency• CERTIFICATIONS: Health Aide Certification (preferred).
