Experience a life in balance and join us on the journey forward.Job SummaryThe Sr. Compensation Systems Analyst supports the variable compensation function through the technical design, development and support of CDW’s compensation plans. This individual is a key contributor in variable compensation plan implementation and maintenance using the Varicent ICM compensation system.What you will do:• Work with cross-functional resources to solidify and document compensation plan requirements.• Learn and understand CDW’s key variable compensation drivers and current plans.• Use technical expertise and experience to design solutions, develop rules, and troubleshoot compensation programs using Varicent ICM.• Administer existing incentive programs within Varicent ICM System.• Assist Senior Manager in project effort estimation and overall project management activities.• Analyze and provide feedback for systems and process improvements, including increased automation of selected compensation functions.• Solidify and document compensation plan requirements and prepare them to be presented at compensation plan requirements review sessions.• Mentor, motivate, and aid the development of other team members. Cross train to leverage each other’s strengths among team members.• Perform analysis of compensation-related data within Varicent ICM. Knowledge of SQL a plus.What we expect of you:• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in systems development and/or configuration OR 9+ years of experience in IT, engineering or related field• 3-year experience with Varicent ICM or other Incentive Management System• Moderate Excel skills, including pivot tables, charts, graphs, linking and formulas.• Moderate to advanced skills in ICM (or other compensation engine) and SQL.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact and present to all stakeholders including senior leadership.• Demonstrated analytical and collaborative skills• Strong appreciation for maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.• Ability to travel to Headquarters for required meetings and presentations.• Varicent ICM development experience is a plus• Prior financial data analysis experience is plus• Who we are:*CDW is a leading technology solutions provider to business, government, education and healthcare organizations across the globe.
