Your Mission:
As a Youth Program Tutor at CASL, you will report to the Youth Program Coordinator and play a pivotal role in supporting students to achieve their educational goals. You'll be responsible for providing academic assistance and guiding hands-on educational activities to enhance subject matter understanding and study habits.

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners? Join CASL as a Youth Program Tutor this Spring Semester in Chinatown, Chicago, Illinois! At CASL, the Chinese American Service League, we believe in connecting families and individuals with the support they need to thrive, and as a Youth Program Tutor, your role is crucial to that mission. You’ll work closely with students from elementary through high school, helping them with homework, enhancing their study skills, and guiding them through engaging, hands-on educational activities. As you assist them in understanding complex subjects, you'll also have the chance to collaborate with other dedicated staff members while leading discussions and workshops. Being a part of our vibrant community means you’ll get to contribute to a culturally rich environment that values diversity and empowerment. To thrive in this part-time role, you’ll need to be a current college student with strong communication skills in English and some basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office. While fluency in Chinese is a bonus, it isn't mandatory. With a flexible schedule available Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm, you can balance your work with your studies and make a tremendous impact on our youth.
