Your Impact:

As a Software Engineer I (This is a 1-year temporary position with the potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs), you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and deployment of features for our cloud-based SaaS platform. You'll take ownership of small to medium-sized projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers. This role provides opportunities for technical growth and increasing influence within the engineering team. You will join a fully remote engineering team based in Vietnam. This team emphasizes collaboration and technical excellence, fostering an environment where engineers are encouraged to contribute to the project's core foundation and features, advocating for best practices and latest, proven, cutting-edge technologies. The engineer will work directly with the Technical Lead of the Integrations team.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex features for cloud-based SaaS applications using specified technologies.
• Debug and resolve complex software defects and performance issues.
• Lead the development of small to medium-sized features, taking ownership from design to deployment.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and scalability issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other engineers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tooling.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Collaborate with product managers to define and refine requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent and 2-4 years of relevant experience is required. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Experience with e-commerce and with specific experience of Shopify a plus!
• Strong expertise in programming principles (e.g. OOP, functional) and design patterns (e.g. DRY, SOLID, IoC).
• Strong proficiency in at least one frontend library or framework (React - preferred, NextJS, Angular, or Vue) and experience building complex UI components.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js/Typescript - preferred, PHP, Python, or Go) and experience building RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with database design, optimization, and ORM frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading small development teams.
• Proficiency in prompt engineering and experience in using AI coding assistant tool in day-to-day work.
