WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Business Operations leadership: You have strong functional expertise and past leadership (5+ years leading operations teams) experience in building and scaling company-wide business operations across a broad range of functions. You have excellent organization, prioritization, and project management skills, and balance your drive for operational excellence with strong customer empathy to ensure your solutions meet stakeholders’ needs.
  • You run towards problems--not away from them: You’re a systems thinker that is comfortable identifying problems, coming up with solutions (not band-aids), and proactively implementing them. You are not afraid of driving change, have an ownership mentality, and go the extra mile to deliver the best possible results.
  • Business Leadership and Communication: You are able to translate business priorities into operational strategies that provide greater leverage to cross-functional teams. Previous consulting experience is a plus.
  • Strategic thinking to execution: You’re able to take a macro view to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement. Then you’re able to zoom into the weeds to help your team execute.
  • People Leadership: You have strong leadership and management abilities, with experience building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Self-starter: You’re able to define your own processes, set direction, and execute without being told what to do every step of the way. You love building things from the ground up, and have a proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to equity and belonging: At Clever, we believe the classrooms we serve and our company’s halls should be spaces that are diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
