SOCRATES and Special Operations Geospatial Enterprise Trainer

Copperhead Technologies, an operating firm of Command Holdings is seeking qualified candidates in support of the USSOCOM SOCRATES mission. This position is responsible for developing and supporting training requirements for the USSOCOM SOCRATES Enterprise Architecture. Support will include new user training, refresher training, specific application training, SOF Geospatial Enterprise (SGE) training, and mission tailored training using SOCRATES baseline and above-baseline applications. In addition, the contract will assist users in account, token, and certification creation/management. The trainer will assist with the creation and management of training plans and will ensure a high-level proficiency of SOCRATES and the SGE.

The trainer will also provide the following:

  • SGE Training: Development and support of SGE training on operating the SGE capability. This training will include the use of ESRI products, inputting data, publishing data, and developing briefings based on SGE.
  • One-On-One Training: Providing one-on-one training for SOCRATES applications.
  • Group Training: Coordination and support of group training to be offered and scheduled at USSOCOM HQ.
  • Mobile Training: As needed, the trainer shall support Mobile Training Team (MTT) requests from TSOCs, Components, and other SOF locations across the Globe.
  • Application Testing: As needed, the trainer shall perform testing of new applications and updates to current applications being integrated into the SOF SOCRATES Enterprise.
  • Remedy Support: Able to access requests and contact users for associated PKI issues.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:

  • 0-10% / Minimal travel expected: offsites, meetings, training, a conference.
  • This position may require travel to remote overseas locations for extended periods of time.

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Training or Intelligence.
  • Current, active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility.
  • Proficiency with delivering user training in various settings.
  • Must be able to travel to remote overseas locations for extended periods of time.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Copperhead Technologies will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Direct Experience using ESRI (ArcGIS) products.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint.
