Overview:The primary duty of this role is to manage all initial queries for the designated practices through the call center.Responsibilities:Takes all incoming and outgoing phone calls and directs them to the appropriate individuals, while prioritizing efficiency and timeliness.Helps to identify and initiate referrals for necessary specialist appointments, procedures, and tests.Using the phone, commences outreach to patients to remind them of their upcoming appointments, provide instructions or address post-care inquiries. Appointments are subject to being cancelled or rescheduled.Organizes and arranges various kinds of mail and correspondences as per the required instructions.Streamlines, accelerates, and tracks all documents associated with patient treatment.Arranges a variety of appointments for healthcare providers and conveys any pertinent information to the patient.Receives inquiries for medication refills, lab work, and test results as needed. Aids in responding to patient phone calls when necessary.Qualifications:A successful completion of a high school education is mandatory for considerationIt is necessary to have at least one year of relevant experienceBefore arranging appointments, it is beneficial to have experience in scheduling, as well as familiarity with front office proceduresLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDPREFERRED
