As we continue to support growth and expansion, we are seeking an organized Contracts Analyst with knowledge of legal terminology, who is highly adaptable and thrives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Position Overview:
As the Contracts Analyst you will confer with legal, sales, and finance on terms; understand when and how to escalate as needed. With additional responsibility for managing the customer and vendor contracts process. Other responsibilities may be assigned to help drive our vision and mission to alignment with our Organization’s Values.
Responsibilities:
Team Collaboration: Interact regularly with the sales and executive teams to manage competing demands. Function with a sense of urgency and highly responsive to the needs of these teams.
Document review: Review and redline standard non-disclosure agreements, data privacy agreements, Panopto standard customer agreements, and partner and vendor agreements. Use automation software to assist with initial reviews of certain documents.
Legal Case Management: manage the department’s legal case queue in Salesforce, conduct initial assessment of newly submitted cases, and maintain the queue to efficiently resolve cases.
Contract Management: Ensure required approvals from legal, information security, sales, and finance are acquired. Ensure quality and accuracy for the life-cycle of contract processes. Work with internal stakeholders to continuously improve the contract process. Work efficiently with internal and external stakeholders to maintain the speed transactions to close for the contract process. Understand and negotiate commercial terms for vendor agreements. Participate in contracts-related projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with paralegal certification
- 2-5 years of experience in a corporate legal department, experienced reviewing and negotiating corporate legal documents, supporting review of vendor contracts as well as customer contracts
- Experience with Salesforce and experience using a contracts management system is preferred
- Detail-oriented with the ability to be proactive and follow-through on projects
- Exhibits a desire for continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability to manage complex transactions with diplomatic negotiation skills
- Team-oriented nature and approach, with the ability to build solid, positive working relationships.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple competing projects
- Highly organized with a deliberate focus toward details
- Ability to think quickly, exhibit good judgment, and adaptability.

Total Rewards:
In the spirit of pay transparency, Panopto is excited to share the salary range for this position which is $55,000 - $60,000 USD per year. This salary range may include multiple levels. Your level is based on our assessment of your interview performance, skills, experience, and/or location. Salary is just one component of Panopto’s total compensation package for employees. Your total rewards package at Panopto will include comprehensive health benefits, 401k match, unlimited PTO, and more. All employees participate in our annual bonus program.
